अभोग
The concluding fourth section of a four-part composition, resolving back to the sthayi.
Abhog is the final section of a four-part composition in dhrupad, following the sanchari. It brings the composition to its conclusion, typically resolving the melodic journey back toward the tonic and the sthayi's home territory. The abhog provides structural closure and emotional resolution, completing the four-part architectural arc of the traditional dhrupad bandish.
